まずは、この国立競技場で、ようやく今年初めてのレースができて、ホッとしている。体調も調子もいいと思っていたので、もう少しタイムを狙っていきたかったのだが、もっとレースを重ねていかないとな、ということを感じた。

（このレースに出場したことで）オリンピック会場となるこの競技場のコンディションや風、タータン（走路）の感じとかを試せたので、（それらを持ち帰って）来年に向けてやっていきたい。

これからは、来年、記録を出せるように、今できることをやって、しっかりと体力的にも技術的にも成長していきたいなと思う。


Takatoshi ABE

I’m relieved to be able to have my first race of this season in the National Stadium. I felt good so I had hoped for a better time but I think I’ll need more races.

I was able to get the feel for the weather condition, the wind, and the track surface of the Olympic venue today. Hope to utilize this experience for next year.

Now I will focus on what I can do now so I’ll be able to improve my record next year. I hope to develop myself physically and technically.
