今回は、優勝を狙っていて、自分が引っ張るレースになると予想していた。人に惑わされないようにしようと思っていたのだが、自分のレースができたかなと思う。

国立競技場で走ることに対しては、緊張というよりは、すごく楽しみにしていた。「オリンピックがここで行われるんだな」という思いで走った。

今季は、このあと行われる日本選手権と日本インカレに出場する。400ｍと800ｍ（の2種目）で優勝して、来年のオリンピックに繋げる走りができたらいいなと思う。

I was looking to win this race and I knew I was going to be pulling the pack. I wanted to make sure I run my own race today and I think I was able to do that.

Running in the National Stadium, I wasn’t nervous at all. I was totally looking forward to it. I ran thinking; ‘This is where the Olympics will take place’.

This season I’ll be in the National Championsihps and the Japan Collegiate Championships. I want to win in both the 400m and the 800m and get a good momentum for the next year’s Olympic Games.
